Luzerne man facing drug counts

A Luzerne County man is facing several drug counts.

State police at Frackville said troopers went to 72 Swatara Road, in Shenandoah Heights, West Mahanoy Township, Schuylkill County, about 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, for a report of a disturbance. While at that location troopers made contact with Brian John Degenhart, 22, no address given.

Degenhart was found to have in his possession hydrocodon tablets which were stolen from a location in Hazleton. He was charged with drug code violations and receiving stolen property.

Degenhart was committed to the county prison in Pottsville after Luzerne County revoked his probation, troopers said.
