Schuylkill crash

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, along SR61 at the entrance to Fessler's Transportation Service, in West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Mary Ellen Hering, of Orwigsburg, was attempting to pull out of a driveway to go north and pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle operated by Scott Allen Miller, of Pottsville. Impact caused Miller's vehicle to spin counter-clockwise and then roll over once. It came to rest in the parking area of Stepping Stones. Hering's vehicle came to rest in a field off the road.

Miller sustained a moderate injury but troopers did not indicate if he required medical attention.

Troopers said Hering was cited for vehicle turning left.
