Traffic stop leads to drug charges
A traffic stop by Pocono Mountain Regional police has led to drug charges pending against two juveniles.
Police said they made a vehicle stop about 11:41 p.m. on July 15 along SR196, south of Nittany Court, in Mt. Pocono. The occupants were identified as two males, a 17-year-old from Cresco and a 16-year-old from Reeders.
Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
A vehicle search was conducted and found was marijuana, drug paraphernalia and alcoholic beverages.
Police said the two will face the drug counts and alcohol possession violation.
