Schuylkill break-in

State police at Frackville reported investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence this week.

Troopers said the home of Kandi Cope, W. Main St., Girardville, was entered sometime on Tuesday, July 19, between 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Removed from the home was a Nintendo Wii, prescription medication, jewelry and a Winchester 30-30 rife.

The break-in was the second reported in the borough on Tuesday. Earlier in the day, between 3-3:45 a.m. the home of Donna Lee Matthias, 33, of 120 N. Line St., was entered and removed was five DVD's and a Wii entertainment system containing three games. A report on that incident appeared in yesterday's police log.
