Theft incident at campground
State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft incident at a Carbon County campground.
Troopers said the incident occurred at the Don Lane Campground, located along 57 Drive, in Lower Towamensing Township. Unknown criminals entered tents, vehicles and campers at various camp sites and removed about $240 in cash, a Wii game system and games.
The listed victims of the thefts were Rodney E. Biegley, 42, of Palmerton, and Michelle D. Heritage, 40, of Laurel, Del.
Troopers noted a 12-year-old juvenile from Palmerton is a suspect in this incident.
