Rush police make 2 drug-related arrests

Rush Township Police made two drug-related arrests this week.

George Cope, 24, of Shillington, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Wednesday, after officers observed a crack pipe, in plain view, in Cope's vehicle. The incident took place at 1:50 a.m. in the area of Tamaqua Street.

Nicholas H. Lambert, 25, of Freeland, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana on Thursday. Lambert was walking in the area of the Pines Motel at 3:38 a.m. at the time of the incident.
