Shoe painting workshop

Teens and adults are invited to a Custom Shoe Painting Workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Pocono Arts Council, 19 N. Seventh St., Stroudsburg, with artist Ted Michalowski.

This fun, practical workshop will result in fine art for your feet.

Use your creative energy to design your own canvas shoes. The instructor will guide you through the painting process and each participant will leave with one or two pair of one-of-a-kind shoes. Bring one or two pairs of plain white canvas shoes, your choice of style.

Tuition is $20 for members; $30 for nonmembers.
