Blue Mountain caters to wine and food enthusiasts

Get ready to pair wine and food with a breathtaking view this weekend at Blue Mountain Resort's "Wine Me Up!" Festival.

This event will showcase wine from the best vineyards in Pennsylvania from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Wines will be paired with butlered hor d'ourves prepared by Blue Mountain culinary chefs and served on the Summit Terrace.

Guests will sip, eat and indulge in live entertainment and unique craft vendors while taking in a spectacular view of the Pocono Mountains.

Winemakers will be in attendance to share knowledge about their products and provide samples to tantalize the taste buds.

Guests will also have the opportunity to buy their favorite wines directly from the vineyards at the festival.

Tickets will include a commemorative wine glass for unlimited sampling, gourmet small plates and free parking.

To kick off the weekend, a preview dinner will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Summit Courtyard.

The evening will feature a six-course meal paired with exclusive wines, a chance to meet the wine makers and live music.

Guests will also have the privilege to purchase wine from the vineyards at a special discounted price during the preview event.

Tickets to the Wine Me Up! Preview Dinner will include a commemorative wine glass, specialty gift bag and complimentary valet parking.
