Affordable Care Act program at BMHS
Blue Mountain Health System Offers a program on "Patient Protection and The Affordable Care Act" at 6 p.m. March 31, in the ground floor community room at the Gnaden Huetten Campus, 211 N. 12th St. in Lehighton.
The purpose of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, more commonly called the Affordable Care Act, is to make health care more affordable for those with little or no coverage.
Speaker Gar Thomas, from Federal Facilitated Marketplace, will explain and answer questions about the ACA: how it works, the new ways to buy regulated health insurance, other important aspects of the law and how it affects you.
