Weight-loss surgery seminars

Blue Mountain Health System bariatric surgeon, Vitaly Sawyna, MD, will offer free educational seminars on weight loss surgery at 10:30 a.m. May 12, and at 6 p.m. May 21.

Both sessions will be held at the Palmerton Hospital Campus on 135 Lafayette Ave.

Weight-loss surgery options including gastric bypass, lap-band and gastric sleeve will be discussed. The surgeon will answer questions about the process and procedure.
