Fair meeting set for July 19

The Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. on July 19 at Phifer’s Ice Dam Pavilion.

Club members should note the location change for the meeting, as well as that this is the only meeting being held during the month of July.

Each member is asked to bring a covered dish to share. The club will provide barbecue, hot dogs and paper products.

The club is also hosting the Palmerton Lions Club at the meeting.

Items to be discussed are preparations for the Carbon County Fair.
