Local student named to dean’s list

Rachel Lauren Keich has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 and spring 2018 semesters at Kutztown University.

She is the daughter of John and Jeanine Keich of Hometown, the granddaughter of Vince and Beverly Vilcheck, Summit Hill, and the late Paul and Ethel Keich, Tamaqua.

Rachel is a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, where she was valedictorian. Her GPA at the end of her junior year was 4.0.

Rachel is majoring in accounting. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and Tau Sigma Honor Society. She is also secretary of the Kutztown University Accounting Club.

Rachel will start her senior year this fall.
