Pending divorce gets messy
A pending divorce action involving a Schuylkill County man got messy earlier this week.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said Heather Ann Wagner, 36, of Cherry Hill, N.J., went to the home of her estranged husband, Norman Ralph Wanger Jr., 38, of Washington St., Auburn, to serve him divorce papers. She arrived at the home about 1:33 p.m. on Sunday, July 17.
Wagner refused to sign the papers as he was looking over them. Present at the home was Dana Rae Shoemaker, 26, who resides with Wagner. She took possession of the papers. Heather Wagner then attempted to grab the papers out of Shoemaker's hands. While this occurred Wagner then attempted to push Shoemaker. Shoemaker then pushed Heather Wagner.
Norman Wagner attempted to separate the two women. Heather Wagner then punched Norman Wagner in the face, troopers said.
Heather Wagner has been charged with two counts of harassment and Shoemaker one count of harassment.
