Motorcycle stolen in Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe police are investigating the theft of a motorcycle owned by a Lewisberry, Pa. man.

Police said they were summoned on July 24 at 12:37 p.m. to Lehigh Avenue near the train station for a report of a stolen motorcycle.

Upon arrival, police learned from Chris Hynes of Lewisberry that his black Suzuki GSXR 1000 motorcycle was stolen from the scene. The cycle, valued at $5,000, has silver lettering on its gas tank.
