Mischief incident in Schuylkill

State police at Frackville are investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred in the Schuylkill County borough of Girardville.

Alice Mills, of Ogden St., Girardville, reported someone broke the windshield on her Chevrolet Malibu while parked in front of her home. The incident occurred sometime overnight of Monday, Aug. 1, into Tuesday.

Troopers noted that Girardville police could not respond to this incident and an assault incident, found in another police log item, because they have no operational police vehicle.
