Lehigh driver facing DUI count

A Lehigh County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 9:41 p.m. on Saturday, July 30.

State police at Fogelsville said Andrew Thrash, 23, of Germansville, was driving in the area of 5286 Sell Rd., in Lowhill Township, when his vehicle left the road and crashed into a ditch.

Thrash was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI and other motor vehicle code violations, troopers said.
