Facing harassment charge in Carbon

A Carbon County man is facing a charge of harassment following an incident that occurred about 4:45 p.m. on July 27 in Towamensing Township.

State police at Lehighton a 30-year-old woman from Schnecksville went to the residence of Richard Allan Reed, 29, 155 Penn Drive, Lehighton, to pick up their three-year-old daughter. While she attempted to leave a verbal argument took place. During the argument Reed allegedly pushed the woman twice in the upper body area nearly causing her to fall to the ground, troopers said.
