Man charged with assault of mother
A Monroe County man has been charged with assaulting his mother. The arrest was one of several reported by state police at Lehighton.
Troopers said Joey Blake, 30, of 5573 Carney Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, was charged with simple assault for an incident that occurred about 6:50 p.m. on Aug. 1. Troopers said Blake allegedly tackled and kicked his mother at the residence. He was arraigned on the charge and released on bail.
Two New Jersey residents were arrested for harassment following an incident that occurred about 8:09 p.m. on July 30 at the Hideaway Hills Golf Course, at 5590 Carney Road, in Kunkletown. Troopers said Kurt Miller, 42, of Kunkletown, was attempting to get information from Frank Inzitari, 38, of Cream Ridge, and Thomas Bohen, 41, of Branchburg, due to a golf ball hitting his home causing minor damages.
While Miller was obtaining the information Inzitari and Bohen became combative and allegedly harassed him. Charges were filed.
Troopers said Shauna L. Andrews, of Lehighton, has been charged with criminal trespass for an incident at 1580 Strohs Valley Road, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Andrews entered the property of HSBC Bank after she was previously told not to return to the property after being served an eviction notice.
She returned to the property on July 29 at 12:04 p.m., two weeks after being told not to go on the property, troopers said.
A 15-year-old female was cited for harassment for allegedly striking another 15-year-old female. The incident occurred at the Children and Youth agency in Eldred Township, Monroe County, where both had been placed. The incident occurred on Aug. 2 about 6:40 p.m.
