Lehighton lists coaster winners

The Lehighton Area Coaster Racing Club held a competition at the Oriolesfest recently.
Coaster Club coordinator Rocky Ahner said coaster racing is a great sport for boys and girls to compete together.
“The race was very interesting with many first time drivers and winners. This continues to give Lehighton Area Coaster Racing an increasing collection of spectators,” Ahner said.
Nino Caruso and Pizza Coma sponsored the race. Blocker Enterprise Inc. supplied the ATVs to transport the cars back to the start line.
The next race is July 8 on Second Street, Lehighton.
Winners were:
Age 8-11 Derby: first, Angelyna Fisher; second, Mia Nothstein, and third, Xavier Raush.
Age 12-16 Derby: first, Cali Reed; second, Latoya Raush, and third, Brandon Carmichael.
Age 8-11 Jalopy: first, Makih Breiner, and second, Xavier Raush.
