BMHS offers program on domestic violence
Blue Mountain Health System will offer a program on domestic violence at 1:30 p.m. July 30, at the Bowmanstown Medical Plaza at 512 Bank St., Bowmanstown.
Domestic violence includes physical, sexual and psychological violence and emotional abuse. The frequency and severity can vary dramatically.
If you are a victim, or know someone who is, learn about domestic violence and abuse the different kinds of abuse, how to recognize signs, the devastating effects, and resources and support services available to help victims and their families move toward a violence-free future.
The speaker will be Louise Keller, education coordinator, Domestic Violence Service Center.
