'Rapunzel' at Shawnee Playhouse

The production is a fun-filled musical romp about a girl locked in a tower by a wicked witch, and no way to escape except by her incredibly long blonde hair.
The show features songs and zany antics guaranteed to delight the entire family.
"Rapunzel" is based on the Grimm's fairytale of the same name with book, music and lyrics by Mark Sarto. Midge McClosky directs.
The cast includes Ryan Fogler as the narrator and husband, Lily Cook as the wife, Victoria Marchin as Rapunzel, Bobby McClosky as Prince Jim, Johanna Gelbs as Edna the witch, Vasilia Briegel as Bonnie and Paraskevi Briegel as Roseann and the plant.
Performances will be at 11 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday, and June 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20.
