BMHS Seminar: Bariatric surgery

Blue Mountain Health System bariatric surgeon Dr. Vitaly Sawyna will offer a free educational seminar on Weight Loss Surgery at 6 p.m. April 23 in the third floor multipurpose room at the Palmerton Hospital Campus at 135 Lafayette Ave.

Bariatric surgery is an option for people whose health and quality of life are being affected by severe obesity.

Weight loss surgery options including gastric bypass, lap-band and gastric sleeve will be discussed, and the surgeon will answer all your questions about the process and procedure.
