Tamaqua theater group to present 'Pinocchio'

The Tamaqua Community Theatre group will present its youth theater production of "Pinocchio" on June 19 and June 20 at the Tamaqua Community Art Center.

Directed by Jonathan Rodgers, the Dan Neidermeyer script is being produced and presented by special arrangement with Heuer Publishing LLC of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

It highlights the classic story of Pinocchio, a wooden puppet who walks and talks and gets into trouble while learning valuable life lessons.

Show times will be at 7 p.m. June 19; and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. June 20.

General admission tickets will be $8 or $5 for children under the age of 12.
