Grey Towers site for teacher workshop

Regional educators are invited to spend the morning at Grey Towers National Historic Site discovering the unique opportunities this national treasure has to offer.

On Aug. 12 there will be a tour, presentation and moderate hike from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

This free session is open to all educator grade levels and subjects, and led by USDA Forest Service staff.

Local continuing education credits may be available through individual school districts.

A light breakfast is provided. You are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch. Even though the workshop ends at noon, you are welcome to remain on site or visit the nearby Milford Experimental Forest.

This free workshop is being offered by the Pinchot Institute for Conservation, USDA Forest Service at Grey Towers and Lacawac Sanctuary.
