Swing dance society offers lessons

Allentown Area Swing Dance Society holds weekly dances on Tuesdays at the Fearless Fire Co. Starlight Ballroom at 1221 S. Front St. and Susquehanna St., Allentown. For directions, go to http://allentownswing.org/directions

Admission is $10; and $5 for students under 21 with ID. The fee will increase as of July 1.

The main lesson runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and starts with basic beginner and builds to intermediate steps.There is open dancing from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. featuring California mix music.

Special beginner or advanced lessons are available from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
