Stove fire spreads in Summit Hill

Fire fighters were on scene at a dwelling fire in Summit Hill on Saturday afternoon. The fire was reported at about 3:45 p.m. at 128 West White street. Reports from the scene say the occupants started a fire in a wood burning stove which spread into an interior wall. Fire companies from Summit Hill, Lansford, Coaldale and Tamaqua responded, as well as Lehighton paramedics. LARRY NEFF/SPECIAL TO TIMES NEWS
