‘The Voice’ runner-up to perform in Tamaqua Saturday
Matt McAndrew, runner-up from season seven of NBC’s reality competition “The Voice,” will be performing at “The Stitch” at the Tamaqua Community Art Center on Saturday.
Billed as “An Intimate Evening with Matt McAndrew,” there will be a private meet and greet at 6:30 p.m. Doors to the concert venue will open at 7 p.m. and the concert will begin at 8 p.m.
McAndrew, 26, is a native of New Jersey. As a member of Adam Levine’s team on “The Voice,” his original single “Wasted Love” made it to 14th on Billboard’s Top 100 chart, selling more than 209,000 units on its first day of release.
Since his appearance on the singing competition, he has been touring with Maroon 5, Nick Jonas, Andy Grammer, American Authors and the Plain White T’s. He recently released a new single, “Game Over.”
McAndrew performed a concert in Tamaqua in 2017.
