2 cited for trespassing at fire tower

Two people were cited for trespassing in Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton and a 17-year-old male from Effort and a 19-year-old male from Kunkletown, were found on the property of the Bethlehem Water Authority at a fire tower located at State Game Lands and Smith roads, in Polk Township. The fire tower is fenced off and clearly posted “no trespassing,” troopers said.

The incident occurred about 7:55 p.m. on April 18.
