2 injured in Schuylkill crash

Two drivers sustained minor injuries in a crash that occurred at 2:21 p.m. on Wednesday along East Mahanoy Avenue in Girardville, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Laurie A. Ramsdale, 48, of Ashland, was negotiating a left hand curve while traveling northbound when her 2000 Kia Sportage crossed over the centerline and collided into a 2017 Freightliner tractor with trailer driven by Christopher Yarnell, 36, of Pottsville. Ramsdale refused medical treatment and Yarnell was treated at the scene by a EMS unit out of Ashland.

Troopers cited Ramsdale for the crash.
