A suspect is being sought in connection with a shooting incident in Schuylkill County. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 1:35 a.m. today along Swopes Valley Road, in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said during a verbal argument Ronald Knoll, 30, of New Philadelphia, was shot in the face four times with a pellet gun. Knoll sustained injuries to his left cheek, nose, right eye and forehead. He was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for treatment.

Troopers said because of the seriousness of the eye injury he was tranferred to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

The alleged shooter is Tyler J. Kreiser, 19, of Pine Grove, troopers said.

A felony warrant for Kreiser's arrest had been obtained and troopers are seeking his whereabouts.
