Counselor assaulted
A counselor at a youth camp in Carbon County was assaulted.
State police at Lehighton said the incident occurred at Camp Adams located in Penn Forest Township. On Friday, Nov. 27, about 6:20 p.m. Luis De Los Santos, 19, of Philadelphia, a client at the facility, allegedly pushed and struck Timothy Delaney, 32, of Jim Thorpe, a youth supervisor, who was attempting to prevent the suspect from escaping from the facility.
De Los Santos was charged with simple assault and harassment.
