December 2, 1994 Chris McLaughlin tallies a game-high 20 points, including nine straight in the game's first three minutes, to lead Marian to a 61-36 victory over Weatherly in the opening round of the Anthracite Hall of Fame Tournament. The Colts, coached by Dave McAndrew, use McLaughlin's quick start to jump out to a 20-11 advantage. Joe Horvat also contributes to the win with 16 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. McLaughlin adds five assists and three steals while Curt Ziegmont chips in with eight points.
