Domestic incident leads to charges

A Monroe County domestic incident has led to charges being filed.

Pocono Mountain Regional police responded to 5 Stonegate Court, Mt. Pocono, about 3:38 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1, for a reported domestic incident. At the scene officers spoke with resident Stephanie Benning, 22, who said said her boyfriend, Abraham Nyanti, 19, subjected her to unwanted physical contact. Police said no injuries were observed to either party.

Nyanti was issued a citation for harassment, police added.
