Carbon Co. Salary Board okays personnel changes

The Carbon County Salary Board approved the following changes during its monthly meeting on Thursday. The changes are as follows:

Courts

• Change the rate of one judicial secretary from $12.90 per hour, to $15.87 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

• Change the rate of two law clerks from $29,374.80 per year to $30,248.40 per year, effective Dec. 3.

Sheriff

• Establish the positions of two deputy sheriffs at $11.69 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

• Establish the positions of two part-time security officers* at $10.40 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

Area Agency on Aging

• Change the rate of one aging case aide II from $10.61 per hour, to $10.93 per hour, effective Dec. 8.

Corrections

• Establish the position of one inmate health coordinator at $19.64 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

• Change the rate of one part-time cook from $9.45 per hour, to $9.17 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

Solid Waste Department

• Establish the position of one part-time collection driver trainee* at $11.69 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

Tax Claim

• Change the rate of one assistant deputy from $14.48 per hour, to $15.82 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

Weatherwood

• Change the rate of one administrator from $56,784 per year, to $58,489.60 per year, effective Dec. 6.

• Change the rate of one part-time utility worker PRN/Dietary from $8.98 per hour, to $8.72 per hour, effective Dec. 3.

* Excluded from retirement plan, not anticipated to work 1,000 hours.
