The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has made it official - Rahn Township is part of the borough of Tamaqua. The court has refused to grant an appeal from a recent Commonwealth Court ruling which affirmed a decision by Schuylkill County President Judge James J. Curran. Curran's decision had denied an appeal of the Rush Township supervisors against the annexation of the township.
