DUI arrest reported in Carbon County

State police at Lehighton reported a driving under the influence (DUI) charge is pending against a driver following an incident on Thursday, Dec. 3, in Carbon County.

Troopers said Chuck Stinson, 53, of Kunkletown, was stopped about 5:36 p.m. along SR209 at Hemlock Lane, in Towamensing Township, for several motor vehicle code violations. At the stop it was determined that Stinson was under the influence. He was then placed under arrest for suspected DUI.

The charge is pending test results, troopers noted.
