Blue Christmas service
St. Matthew's UCC will hold a Blue Christmas evening service on Monday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. for those who find themselves feeling "blue" during the Christmas season. Maybe you've lost a loved one and are grieving. Maybe you are feeling the pain of a lost relationship, a job or health. Hopefully this service will bring peace into your life.
PVEN
Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network is in need of new underwear and socks as well as food items. You can drop off donations at St. Matthew's office hours of Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sundays from 8-11:30 a.m.
Chestnut Ridge Seniors
The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will have their Christmas party on Thursday, Dec. 10 at the Terrace Restaurant in Walnutport at noon. The next Chestnut Ridge Seniors meeting will be on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co. Bring a bag lunch and your rabbit's foot to play bingo.
