Happy kids meet Santa for breakfast at Penn's Peak

Santa and Mrs. Claus visited Penn's Peak on Saturday morning to meet with the children who stopped for the first annual "Breakfast with Santa" at Roadies Restaurant.
During his stopover, Santa met and talked with well over 100 excited youngsters who, along with having their picture taken with Santa, also received a free gift and a chance to win a great prize.
The event, sponsored by Blue Ridge Communications, will benefit Dream Come True, Blue Ridge Chapter.
The event organizer Julianne Farina, marketing and PR coordinator for Blue Ridge Communications, was assisted by Santa's elves Jennifer Brownmiller and Brandy Winters.
The good turnout will probably mean that this won't be Santa's last visit to Penn's Peak for "Breakfast with Santa" at Roadies Restaurant.
