JROTC holds Pearl Harbor ceremony

Published December 09. 2009 05:00PM

On Monday, December 7, students in the Panther Valley JROTC held a ceremony for the fallen heroes of Pearl Harbor.

The ceremony involved the posting of the colors, in which the flags were posted and guarded by members of the color guard as well as a few senior cadets.

A wreath of remembrance was placed between the American flag and the JROTC Corps flag. The ceremony also included the reading of the Presidential proclamation for the whole school so the rest of the student body could be reminded and participate in this national day of remembrance.

This ceremony is held every year by the JRTOC to show recognition for the brave heroes who died serving our country.
