Four Tamaqua men plead guilty in Schuylkill proceedings

Four Tamaqua men were among 18 who entered guiltuy pleas to criminal charges recently in the Schuylkill County Court and were sentenced by Judge D. Michael Stine as follows:

John A. Guerrero, 18. of 510 Pine St., Tamaqua, on charges of manufacture and sale of non-controlled substance and criminal use of a cell phone was placed on probation 23 months and ordered to pay a fine of $150 and court costs, pay $100 to the Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund; $50 to the Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) fund and make restitution of $113 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab and $40 to the district attorney's office. Guerrero was cited by Patrolman Anthony Stanell, Tamaqua police, on Rolling Mill Ave. on May 9, 2008, with possession of psilocybinary drug (known as mushrooms).

Geary Joseph Lawson, 55, of 84 Hunter St., Tamaqua, on charges of possession of an insturment of crime and drug paraphernlia. was given credit for serving 30 days in the Schuylkill County Prison and was released on probation for 18 months, pay a fine of $150 and court costs, pay $100 to SAE fund and $50 to CLJE fund, and perform 20 hours of community service. Lawson was cited by Patrolman Karl Harig, Tamaqua police, in an abandoned home on Market Street.

Steven Reimiller, 24, of 115 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering Trisha Lynn Bruno last May 30 was sentenced to serve 33 days to 18 months in the county prison and since he served the minimum was granted immediate parole. He also was ordered to pay a fine of $150 and court costs and $50 to the CJEA fund. Reimiller was cited by Patrolman Jeffrey Wainwright, Tamaqua police.

David Ruben Green, 57, of 402 Pine St., Tamaqua, on a charge of retail theft from Fegley's Mini Mart was placed on probation 23 months, pay a fine of $150 and court costs and $50 to CJEA fund. Green was cited by Patrolman Matthew Bynon, Tamaqua police.

Kevin Gerard Yoder, 44, Minersville, on three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana was placed on probation three years, pay $450 in fines and costs, pay $150 to the CJEA fund, $100 to SAE fund, restitution of $60 to the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force and $339 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab.

Ryan Thomas White, 23, Schuylkill Haven, on a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, was placed on probation for six months, pay a fine of $300 and court costs, pay $100 to the SAE fund, $50 to the Catastrophe fund, $60 to the Schuylkill Medical Center and receive outpatient counseling. On a summary charge of failling to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 plus $50 costs. White was cited by Trooper Michael Allar last Feb. 8 when stopped on SR183 in Wayne Township. He was stopped the officer reported because he had darkened the front side window of his car.

Joseph Allen Reppert, Sr., 43, Pottsville, on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was placed on probation for 12 months, pay a fine of $150, court costs, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $176 to the Bethlehem Regional Lab. Reppert was cited by Patrolman Eugene M. Yourey, Pottsville police.

Scott Paul Kuehner, 51, Kunkletown, on a charge of indecent assault, was placed on probation for two years, pay a fine of $300 and court costs and $50 to the CJEA fund. Kuehner was cited by Patrolman David George, Schuylkill Haven police.

Brandon Lee Aungst, 21, Schuylkill Haven, on a charge of criminal trespass on Lake Wynonah property and theft was placed on probation for three years, pay a fine of $150, court costs and $50 to CJEA fund. Aungst was cited by Trooper Chad M. .Smith.

Edward Doyle Grabarek, 42, Reading, on a charge of DUI sentenced to serve nine months to five years in the county prison with his sentence to begin Jan. , 2010, at 9 a.m., pay a fine of $1,500 and court costs, pay $100 to SAE fund,d $100 to Catastrophe fund and his driver's license is suspended for 18 months and when the license is restored he must install an ignition interlock in his car for a period of 12 months to monitor any drinking. Grabarek was cited by Patrolman Raymond Horan, Butler Township police.

Seine Nancy Gustitus, 24, Lancaster, on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug praphernalia was placed on probation 12 months, pay a fine of $150 and court costs, pay $100 to the SAE fund and $50 to CJEA fund. Gustitus was cited by Patrolman Eugene Yourney when stopped in Pottsville.

Aimee Marie Jones (Delellis), 29, Pottsville, on a charge of resisting arrest was placed on probation 12 months, pay a fine of $150 and court costs and $50 to CJEA fund. She was cited by Cpl. Mark O'Toole, Pottsville police.

Jacob C. Kairitis, 40, Pottsville, on a charge of harrassment was placed on probation six months, pay a fine of $100 and court costs and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Kairitis was cited by Patrolman Joseph R. Welsh, Pottsville police.

Joel Martinez-Colan, 22, Pottsville, on a charge of concealment of the whereabouts of a child, was placed on probation 23 months, pay a fine of $150, court costs and pay $50 to CJEA fund. He was cited by Det. Glenn Dove, Pottsville police. On a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, as charged by Patrolman John Mohl, Pottsville police, was given a sentence of 12 months on probation to run concurrent to the first sentence, pay a fine of $150, court costs, $100 to SAE fund and $50 to CJEA fund.

Sue Beth Miller, 36, Pottsville, on a charge of theft of merchandise from Way Mart Store, Minersville, was placed on probation 12 months, pay a fine of $150, court costs, pay $50 to CJEA fund and make restitution of $367.62 to the store.

David Edward Mullins, Jr., 24, Pottsville, on a charge of selling or furnishing alcohol beverages to minors was placed on probation 12 months, pay a fine of $1,000, court costs and pay $50 to CJEA fund. On a second count of selling or furnishing alcohol beverages to minors was fined $1,000 and received a concurrent 12 months probation sentence. Mullins was cited by Corporal Dennis Wiederhold, Pottsville police.

Jason Lawrence Ryan, 22, West Hazleton, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance was placed on probation 12 months, pay a fine of $300, court costs, pay $100 to the SAE fund, $50 to the CJEA fund, perform 50 hours of community service, restitution of $350 to the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force and $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Ryan was cited on Blaine Street, McAdoo, by the drug task force.

Aaron Burchill Bevan, 44, Frackville, was sentenced on a series of criminal charges. On a charge of theft of a shrimp tray from a restaurant was placed on probation 23 months, pay a fine of $150, court costs, pay $50 to CJEA fund; on a charge of harassment was fined $100 and costs and a $50 fee to CJEA fund; on a second charge of harassment was fined $100, costs and pay $50 to CJEA fund; and on charges of disorderly conduct fined $100 and careless driving and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic fined $25 plus $100 in costs; on a third charge of harassment fined $100 and court costs and $50 to CJEA fund and on a charge of possession drug paraphernalia was fined $150 and court costs, pay $100 to SAE fund and $50 to CJEA fund. He was cited by members of the Frackville Police Department.

All defendants must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee.
