Divorces granted
Clayton T. Evans, Ashland, was granted a divorce from Dana L. Evans, Aristes. They were married Nov. 27, 2004.
Steven A. Warner, Pine Grove, was granted a divorce from Tammy L. Warner, Jonestown. They were married Feb. 19, 2005.
Lisa A. Tower, also known as Lisa A. Aloisio, Jersey Shore, was granted a divorce from Randy L. Tower, Minesville. They were married Sept. 6, 1986.
Grant variance
Eric V. MInichbach, owner of premises along SR443 in Pine Grove, was granted a variance by the Schuylkill County Zoning Board to permit him to convert a portion of his property to use as a retail establishment for the sale of guns, sporting goods and associated materials which activities are generally characterized as sporting goods shop. The Red Lion Inn, a hardware store and lumber yard, are in the general vicinity of the premises and there is a large commercial parking lot.
Revoke probation
Natalie Ann Smyrl, 43, Mahanoy City, was removed from the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) by Judge John E. Domalakes for violating the rules set by court. She was re-sentenced to serve 90 days to five years in the county prison on a driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol charge with credit for serving 73 days. The IPP is a special probation program offered in lieu of prison. She was placed in the program after admitting she was guilty of the DUI charge brought by Patrolman Alfred Walsh, McAdoo police, when she was stopped on S. Kennedy Drive.
Vincent Michael Weiss, 26, Pottsville, had his probation revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin for violating the terms and he was re-sentenced to serve six to 12 months in the county prison. He previously had entered a guilty plea to possession of drug paraphenalia as charged by Sgt. John Morrow, Pottsville police, and was put on probation.
