Palmerton couple wed 30 years

Mr. and Mrs. Peter K. Smale of Palmerton celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22.

They were married by the Rev. Gordon Clark at the Salem United Methodist Church in Bangor.

Mrs. Smale is the former Joann Cory, daughter of Jean Cory, Saylorsburg, and the late Martin Cory.

Mr. Smale is the son of Adaline Smale of Bangor and the late Donald Smale.

They have three children, Joshua, Matthew, and Timothy, all of Palmerton. They also have a grandson, Gavin.

An anniversary party was held Sept. 26, at the Candlelight Inn, Bethlehem.
