Guilty pleas

Gregory Allen Spiess , Jr., 32, Center Turnpike, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest as charged by Patrolman Frank DiMarco, Saint Clair Police, and was sentenced by Judge D. Michael Stine. He was given credit for having served 11 days in the Schuylkill County Prison and was released on probation for 12 months, pay a $50 monthly fee for each month on probation, pay a fine of $100 and costs of prosecution and pay $50 to the CJEA (Criminal Justice Enhancement Account) fund and on a charge of disorderly conduct was fined $100.

Charles David Knowles, 36, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft and was given credit by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin for having served 95 days in the county prison and was released on probation for six months, pay a monthly probation supervision fee of $50, pay $50 to the CJEA fund and make restitution of $25.62 to Giant Food Store, Pottsville.
