Driver facing DUI count in Schuylkill
A Northbumberland County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI), following an incident in Schuylkill County.
State police at Frackville said Edward Linkus, 58, of Paxinos, was pulled over about 12:53 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, along SR4033 (Little Mountain Road), in Union Township, for a moving violation. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for a blood test.
The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
