Monroe driver facing charges

A Monroe County driver is facing charges following an incident in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart store in Mt. Pocono.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Elajuwon Prioleau, 25, of Long Pond, has been charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident in the lot. An investigation revealed on Dec. 7 about 4 p.m., Prioleau was operating a vehicle that struck another occupied vehicle and then left the scene.

Police said Prioleau did not have valid insurance on his vehicle at the time.
