This is the time of year with the longest nights, so at this time St. John's Church is offering a quiet, meditative worship service that makes time for remembering, sharing our hurting places with God, and preparing our hearts for the coming of Christ. The public is invited to St. John's Lutheran Church, 1 East Abbott St., Lansford, on Monday, Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. for a time of special music, scripture, silent reflection, healing prayer, and Holy Communion.
