Carbon Democrats for Change to hold Feliz Navidad party

The Carbon County Democrats for Change (CCDC) will have a Feliz Navidad Party on Tuesday, Dec. 22 at Pepperjacks at 41 Broadway in Jim Thorpe.

Dinner, which is optional, will begin at 6 p.m., and ordered off the menu. A social hour will follow with a cash bar and entertainment by Helen Torok and her karaoke machine and her beautiful voice. Door prizes will be given.

Carbon County Commissioner William O'Gurek will be the guest speaker at the Carbon County Democrats for Change meeting on Jan. 26. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at The Inn at Jim Thorpe in the basement conference room.

Tentative guest speaker for the Feb. 23 meeting will be Speaker of the House, Keith McCall. CCDC supports progressive legislation and candidates at the national, state, and local level, and welcomes all visitors.
