Break-in at Monroe business today

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County business that occurred early today.

Troopers said the Mt. Effort Service Station, located along SR115 in Chestnuthill Township, was entered after 5 a.m. Entry was gained by smashing the front door. Once inside the criminals removed cash and packaged snacks that were for sale.
