Mahanoy City woman found guilty of drug possession in Schuylkill
Three jury trials were presided over by President Judge Willliam E. Baldwin in the Schuylkill County court recently.
Tracy Leigh Fuehrer, 35, Mahanoy City, was found guilty of possession and delivery of a controlled substance in the borough. She was cited by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force. Baldwin released her on the same bail previously set for appearance in court for sentencing at a later date and ordered a presentence investigation (PSI) report prepared by the adult probation department.
Ernest Dale Schaeffer Jr., 33, Pine Grove, was on trial on charges of involutnary devious sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, indecent exposure and indecent assault. After several hours of deliberation a jury could not agree on a verdict and Baldwin ruled a mis-trial and returned the case to the district attorney for further action.
The defendant denied committing the acts.
Adam Adams, 25, Shamokin, formerly of Gordon, was found not guilty by a jury of criminal conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He was in an apartment in Gordon with several other people when Butler Township police staged a raid.
