Tamaqua students are cited

Tamaqua police have been dispatched to the Tamaqua Area Senior High School several times in the past few weeks citing three students for separate offenses.

One student was cited for harassment after allegedly striking another student, while three teens were charged with underage possession of tobacco products on school district property.

All of the students also face disciplinary action under the district's zero tolerance policy.
